Sonus Networks Wins 2001 Comet Award From Communication Systems Design Magazine
WESTFORD, Mass., September 25, 2001 – Sonus Networks (Nasdaq: SONS), a leading provider of voice infrastructure solutions for the new public network, today announced that it has been named a recipient of a 2001 Comet Award. Sonus will be presented the award by Communication Systems Design magazine at an awards banquet on October 2nd, held in conjunction with the Communications Design Conference (October 1-4, San Jose Convention Center).
The Comet Awards recognize up and coming communications technology companies that have demonstrated superior achievement by virtue of their innovation, technical vision and risk-taking. Sonus was selected for the award from a field of 70 emerging communications companies by a panel of editors from industry publications Communication Systems Design, Embedded Systems Programming, Commsdesign.com and EE Times.
