At NXTComm 2008, Industry Leader Sets the Global Stage for Enhanced Consumer Experiences

(Nasdaq: SONS), a market leader in IP communications infrastructure, today announced its plans to demonstrate at NXTComm 2008 held in Las Vegas from June 17-19 how operators around the globe can launch a new consumer experience that promises to redefine the telecommunications industry. In booth SU9208, Sonus will show operators how they can deliver a consumer or enterprise experience that bridges traditional telecommunication with the revolutionary world of IP. Visitors to the Sonus booth will see firsthand the edge that Sonus provides in the marketplace with a comprehensive array of products and solutions targeted at today's always on lifestyle.

This year, Sonus will have an extended presence at NXTComm, exhibiting for the first time in the OSS/BSS Technology Pavilion, booth # SL1623F. Sonus now offers a variety of operational support system (OSS) solutions to help operators overcome the provisioning-related challenges in launching advanced IP-services. The Sonus Insight Customer Portal is a customer care system which allows operators to improve customer care by offering web-based access for customers. The system has been designed to improve an operator's immediate customer care needs while providing a full migration path to Sonus Activator, a carrier-grade provisioning OSS, which enables operators to streamline the delivery of IP-voice and a wide range of IP-service bundles. When used together, the Portal and Activator solutions allow operators to turn-up and manage their Sonus services in a quick, cost-effective and customer-friendly manner.
