Sonus Chief Technology Officer Educates Network Operators on Effective Strategies for Deploying IMS Solutions

WESTFORD, Mass., June 12, 2007 – Sonus Networks (Nasdaq: SONS), a leading supplier of service provider Voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure solutions, announced that at NXTcomm 2007 (Booth #4215), the company will showcase its award-winning suite of next generation IP-based solutions, including communications applications supported by Sonus' industry leading IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)-based architecture and designed to meet the rigorous demands for future residential and enterprise voice networks. • Local Business Services: In the past, most people turned to their "yellow pages" to find goods and services close to their home or business, a model that enabled network operators to generate advertising revenues in addition to usage-based revenues. Sonus will demonstrate how carriers can supercharge this model with interactive advertising that combines location and web services to deliver customers directly to the merchant's storefront.
