Companies to market & promote new GCS offer

Dynamic Carrier-in-a-Box (dCBOX).

Available for immediate order, dCBOX is delivered via GCS' Cloud operating environment and gives carriers a powerful, innovative solution to reduce operational costs while providing streamlined network operations. Working together, GCS and Sonus expect to engage in joint sales
and go-to-market activities for the new Cloud based offering.

The dCBOX solution set includes:

• GCS Dynamic Route Management (dROM)
• GCS Dynamic Rate Management (dRAM)
• GCS Dynamic Carrier Portal (dPORT)
• Sonus SBC 5100 Session Border Controller

According to research firm Gartner, companies are expected to spend more than $150 billion on Cloud computing in 2013. As a result, businesses are evaluating their current application mix and looking for ways to prepare for an eventual migration to the Cloud.

The Sonus SBC 5100 – which delivers 250 to 10,000 sessions on a single server – will be deployed within GCSʼ New York City data center and will be the peering interface for all of GCS' dCBOX customers to secure network borders, enforce quality of service policies, traverse intermediate network address translation (NAT) and firewalls, ensure regulatory compliance, deliver the essential transcoding of media and provide codec, dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF)
and fax interworking. As part of GCSʼ service model, customers who subscribe to the companyʼs Cloud-based service will be able to securely and privately configure, provision, commission and monitor the Sonus SBC 5100s for a negotiated number of sessions in conjunction with the GCS
Dynamic Management Solution.
