GENCom Premium for Tablets
GENCom Premium for Tablets is client software that quickly deploys on iPads and Android Tablets. GENCom Premium for Web is redefining the unified communications experience. Users interact with a web page that delivers the look and feel of the GENCom Premium Tablet client with just a web-browser. Next generation WebRTC technology is supported to eliminate the need to deploy any software on the endpoint device. This deployment model dramatically simplifies enterprise BYOD initiatives and dramatically reduces the need for enterprises to deploy and maintain device specific clients for specific devices.
GENBAND has made a significant investment in WebRTC, developing its SPiDR WebRTC gateway to enable enterprises to quickly adopt GENCom for Web. The SPiDR gateway provides front-end web services, WebRTC media and RESTful APIs to make it easy to develop, customize and iterate a variety of web services that include real time communications.
GENCom Mobile clients provide mobile users access to their SMART OFFICE UC Services via a smartphone (Available on iPhone and Android phone). Using the GENCom Mobile Clients allow users to literally carry their office phone in their pocket for true one number service. Outbound calls from the GENCom mobile client reflect the user’s business identity, not the user’s personal cell phone number. Users can configure the client to ring concurrently or sequentially with other endpoints; including a traditional desk phone or other GENCom clients. Calls can be placed or answered from any device and the GENBAND’s Call Grabber service makes it effortless to move live calls between devices.
GENCom for Desktops
The GENCom for Windows and GENCom for MAC Desktop Clients are soft-client applications tailor-made for accessing all the SMART OFFICE UC services delivered by the GENBAND EXPERiUS Application Server platform. GENCom desktop clients can be deployed as a user’s primary phone, eliminating the cost and complexity of deploying a hard phone on every desk. GENCom clients are designed to be used with a computer’s native multimedia services as well as external web cams and headsets.
