Mobile Voice Core

GENBAND’S G9 Converged Gateway and S2 Security Gateway are femtocell gateway components within the overall femtocell solution, offering carrier-grade architecture and field-proven software that are highly reliable and offer a lower total cost of ownership than competing solutions.

The S2 and G9 enable cost-effective femtocell deployments for both residential and enterprise networks and are field proven in the femtocell market with many deployments and trials globally. The G9 Gateway and S2 Security Gateway interwork with femtocell controllers, mobile core and internet/broadband IP networks via standardized interfaces. Enterprise femtocell offerings are rapidly growing in popularity providing operators with new business opportunities. Femtocells are also being embraced in urban and rural residential network designs to overcome coverage challenges or lack of coverage of existing wireless networks.
