These IP Phones provide all the functionality users require, from the basic 8802 and 8815 IP voice telephones to the 8840 Executive handsets with advanced features such as handsfree calling, WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth headset integration.

The GENBAND 8800 series IP Phone range brings a new dimension in communication features and capabilities to the professional desktop IP Phone. Providing an advanced communications terminal with high-end functionality is designed to boost the productivity for all levels, from basic users to managers and knowledge workers, the single-line/multi-line GENBAND IP Phones offers rich suite of reliable, quality based telephony communications features. WiFi and Gig-Ethernet ports provide fast and reliable network connectivity. Combined with the rich telephony feature sets delivered from the A2 softswitch the 8800 series portfolio includes –
- 8802 – Single line entry level IP Telephone
- 8815 – Basic IP telephone with LCD display and 9 programmable line or feature appearances with paper labels.
- 8820 – Backlit LCD display and up to 12 line or feature keys with paper labels.
- 8830 – similar to the 8820, with 24 line or feature keys available.
- 8840 – Executive handset with 8 LCD label line or key appearances.
- Expansion modules – LCD or paper label modules supported on the 8820/30/40 to provide extra line or feature appearances.
- Bluetooth and WiFi adaptors – supported on the 8820/30/40 models provides support for Bluetooth Headsets and WiFi network connectivity.
Remote no-touch provisioning features on all models also saves the hassle and expenses of managing, preloading and re-configuring customer premise equipment for mass deployment. It also affords users and administrators the ability to easily move phones, add new phones, and change existing phone set up; users can simply pick up their terminal and move to a new location anywhere on the network.
