Jon Jorgl

President of Enterprise Sales

Jon Jorgl is the President of Enterprise Sales for GENBAND, where he is responsible for sales and strategic channel development worldwide.  Prior to joining the company, Jon worked as the Chief Development Officer for Smoothstone IP Communications where he had responsibility for sales and corporate development.  Jon helped establish Smoothstone as the market leader of enterprise cloud communications, which led to Smoothstone’s acquisition by West Corporation in 2011.  Before Smoothstone, Jon held a number of key executive positions including COO and EVP Corporate Development at WestCom Corporation, through its sale to One Equity Partners and subsequently to IPC Communication.  Prior to Westcom, Jon worked with Global Crossing through its acquisition of Ixnet in 2000, where he was part of the IXnet executive leadership team from start  up to its initial public offering on the NASDAQ in 1999. Jon resides in New York City with his family and serves as an advisor to the board of the Brooklyn Autism Center Foundation.
