As GENBAND’s Chief Legal Officer, Zach Green is responsible for all global legal and contract-related matters. Green brings to GENBAND more than 25 years of combined legal and technology experience, including more than 10 years as an electrical engineer at Hewlett Packard. He has a proven track record leading private and public global companies in complex commercial transactions, acquisitions, corporate finance, international operations, new market expansion and IPO readiness.
Prior to GENBAND, Green served as an executive officer and Global General Counsel for KGB (formerly INFONXX, Inc.) where he was a member of the senior executive team and led the organization’s global legal operations, providing counsel in key areas such as strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities, litigation, intellectual property, regulatory and compliance. Green had previously served as PanAmSat Corporation’s Associate General Counsel, Corporate and Securities, and Corporate Compliance Officer, where he was responsible for strategic and capital markets transactions, including a $900 million IPO; international corporate legal affairs, merger and acquisitions; and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Before joining PanAmSat, Green was a corporate attorney in private practice representing venture and private equity funds in buyouts and investments in telecommunications, biotech, new media and environmental companies. He also represented a broad range of private and public companies on formation, venture and public financing and establishing and building strategic relationships.
Green holds a Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School and an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Degree from Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
