As GENBAND’s Chief Financial Officer, Daryl Raiford is responsible for all finance related resources and functions. Raiford brings to GENBAND more than 20 years of experience managing financial and business development roadmaps, including acquisitions, large-scale integration and long-term strategic planning for leading global public companies.
Before joining GENBAND, Raiford was vice president of finance and business transformation at publically registered, Fortune 500 Freescale Semiconductor in Austin, Texas. He oversaw restructuring of Freescale’s manufacturing footprint, monetization of under-utilized assets and intellectual property, and the consolidation of global design, sales and marketing. Additionally he served as the company’s Chief Accounting Officer.
Prior to Freescale, Raiford was the CFO at publicly registered, New York-based Travelport, Inc. (formerly Cendant Travel Distribution Services), responsible for the worldwide finance and administrative functions of this global travel distribution firm. During his tenure, Travelport’s revenue and employee-base doubled through major acquisitions including Orbitz (USA), GTA (global) and ebookers.com (Europe). He chaired global merger integration teams, helping to successfully integrate all aspects of acquired businesses.
Before Travelport, Raiford spent five years at Compaq and Hewlett Packard, holding several strategic positions including vice president of finance and administration for the Americas at HP and corporate controller at Compaq. He also served as CFO for Shell Technology Ventures, based in Houston and The Hague.
Raiford began his career at the leading accounting firm Price Waterhouse in London and Houston, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
